    Red Wine Vinegar Dressing

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

While it is very easy to buy salad dressing in the store...finding ones without preservatives and questionable ingredients is not.

Luckily... its super fast and easy to make a homemade vinaigrette. I found a set of these dressing jars at T.J. Maxx and now I always keep this Red Wine Vinegar dressing on my counter ready to go!

What do you need to make this vinaigrette?

    Olive Oil

    Red Wine Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar (or can just sub additional red wine vinegar)

    Dijon Mustard

    Dried Italian seasoning

    Onion Powder

    Salt & Pepper

    Note on portions:

This recipe is set at a mild oil to vinegar ratio- if you prefer a more vinegar taste try ½ cup olive oil to ⅔ cup vinegar.

    Red Wine Vinaigrette Directions:

    1. Mix olive oil, spices, Dijon mustard, and salt& pepper.
    2. Pour in the vinegars and vigorously mix until well blended.
    3. Store in an air tight container at room temperature.
    4. Use within a week.

    Storing:

I prefer to keep this at room temperature but you can absolutely put it in the fridge. Always shake before serving and be prepared for separation.

What to put red wine vinegar dressing on?

This is incredible on a Greek Quinoa Bowl, a salad, pasta salad, or a warm spinach salad would be great!
