    Hey! I'm Marissa.

    I am so glad you're here.

    I created Over the Spoon for after years of trying to figure out what meals actually made me feel good.

    I landed on a simple combination: meals that are blood-sugar-friendly, high in protein, and built around whole foods just work for me. They keep me feeling steady, satisfied, and energized through long days (without the 3 p.m. crash).

    But here’s the thing: I’m not interested in rigid plans, long ingredient lists, or 3 hour prep days.

    I believe meals should feel nourishing and planning your meals can be a form of self-care.

    My goal is for your Thursday self thank your Sunday self for thinking ahead.
