I created Over the Spoon during a season of life where getting dinner on the table felt… way harder than it should have. Between busy days, a toddler at my feet, and the mental load of “what’s for dinner?” on repeat, I knew something had to change.

So I started simplifying.

I found that the meals that actually worked in real life weren’t complicated...they were balanced, high-protein, and easy to prep ahead. Meals you can throw together on a busy weeknight, reheat without thinking twice, or pull from the freezer when the day gets away from you.

Most of us don’t have time for elaborate recipes or hours in the kitchen and I don’t believe you should need them to eat well.
