The best way to make pork shoulder - in the instant pot!

- 7 lbs. pork shoulder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- ½ tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- ½ cup water
- 4 limes, juiced
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
In a small bowl, mix all spices.
Trim the excess fat off of pork shoulder and cut into quarters.
Evenly season the pork with spice mixture.
Set instant pot to sauté mode, grease with oil and brown pork on each side, remove and set aside.
Hit cancel and deglaze instant pot with water, vinegar and juice of limes.
Add pork back to instant pot and cook on high for 90 minutes.
Hit cancel and allow to natural release for 10 minutes, then quick release.
Shred pork and serve!
