Healthier Sloppy Joe Recipe
An easy and healthy sloppy joe recipe

- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- ½ yellow onion, diced
- 2 lbs. ground turkey
- 2 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon low sugar ketchup optional
Grease a large pan and saute the diced bell pepper and onion for about 5 minutes, allowing the onion to become translucent and the pepper tender.
Add in ground turkey and saute meat until brown, no need to drain!
Stir in tomato paste, mustard, and vinegar. Optional to drizzle with ketchup and salt and pepper to taste.
Serve on a bun, stuff a sweet potato, or as a side to some sauteed vegetables!
