    Keto Key Lime 'Pie'

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Ok so, this might not actually be pie...BUT hear me out. If you are on a keto or low carb diet and you want the easiest, freshest, key lime pie taste - this combination is magic!

I feel silly even calling this a recipe because it's so easy but I had to make sure every one tried this combo for a keto key lime pie flavor.

    Over the Spoon for:

    • A hydrating treat!
    • A low carb dessert
    • Naturally sweet and fresh

    What do you need:

    • Fresh Watermelon
    • Sea salt
    • Lime Juice
    • Whipped Cream: you can use a dairy free option here!

    Is watermelon keto?

Compared to other fruits, watermelon is lower in carbs (about 11 net carbs per cup) compared to say 22 carbs per cup of pineapple.

In this recipe you can use about ½ cup of watermelon to make this slice of keto key lime pie roughly 6 carbs compared to roughly 42 carbs in a slice of classic key lime pie.

    How to make:

it could not be easier to make this key lime pie! Simply:

    1. slice water melon
    2. sprinkle with sea salt
    3. squeeze lime juice
    4. top with whipped cream
