Let's start with the basics of this healthy edible brownie batter.
- 1 can of chickpeas or garbanzo beans
- Cacao Powder - While Cacao powder is similar to cocoa powder- cacao powder is full of great health benefits! It is full of flavonoids which can help reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure, and stabilize insulin.
- Melted coconut oil or ghee
- Coconut sugar - or sweetener of choice
- Vanilla Extract
- Salt
- Almond Milk- or water
- Mini Chocolate Chips

- Rinse chickpeas in a strainer, 3 times, to thoroughly remove the "aquafaba" AKA chickpea...juice.
- In a small bowl, melt coconut oil or ghee by microwaving for about 30 seconds.
- Add chickpeas to a food processor along with all ingredients and blend.
- To get the right consistency, you can keep adding more water or almond milk.
- Serve topped with more chocolate chips.

- 4 tbsp coconut sugar
- 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp peppermint extract
- ⅓ cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp almond milk add more if needed for creamy consistency
Instructions
- Rinse chickpeas, 3 times before putting in food processor.
- Melt coconut oil in a small dish for 30 seconds.
- Add all ingredients to blender and blend until creamy.
- Add more almond milk or water, as needed.
