    Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts with Bacon

    Air fryer side dishes to the rescue, again! These air fryer brussel sprouts with bacon are such an easy and flavorful side dish OR topping to a salad.

    You can make this in the oven or air fryer with a simple homemade dressing, bacon, and brussel sprouts.

    Over the Spoon for:

    Healthy fats from bacon

    Loaded with fiber and vitamin C

    What do you need:

    • Brussel sprouts- fresh not frozen
    • Bacon slices - you can omit the bacon to make it vegetarian

    For the dressing:

    • Avocado oil - or Olive oil
    • Apple cider vinegar
    • Course Dijon Mustard
    • Honey
    • Salt and pepper

    How to make:

    1. Preheat air fryer to 370 degree Fahrenheit.
    2. Cut the ends off of Brussel sprouts, then cut in half.
    3. Cut bacon into 1 inch pieces, I like to use kitchen scissors to do this.
    4. In a large mixing bowl, mix oil, vinegar, mustard, and honey and then toss Brussel sprouts in sauce.
    5. Add coated Brussel sprouts to air fryer and then add bacon slices.
    6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, tossing halfway through.
    7. Toss in salt and pepper, then serve.

    Air Fryer Tip:

    I have heard you can line your air fryer with parchment paper for easy clean up when cooking bacon!

    No Air Fryer? You can absolutely make this in the oven instead! I would try placing everything on a sheet pan spaced out and cook at 400 degree F for 30 minutes tossing halfway through.

    Serve with:

    This is an excellent side for eggs for a hearty brunch or breakfast for dinner.
    As a main course, over rice pilaf.
    With an air fryer entrée such as Keto Parmesan Crusted Chicken (Air fryer)

    Dressing

    • 2 tbsp avocado oil

    • salt and pepper to taste

    Mix dressing in a large bowl separately before tossing with cooked brussel sprouts.
