I'm Marissa, the gal behind 'Over The Spoon for.'
I graduated Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
I've been passionate about nutrition and healthy eating ever since I learned how the right food and lifestyle could make you feel SO much better.
After a year of super painful stomach cramps and ultimately the removal of my gall bladder, I needed to adjust my diet to allow for easier digestion and *finally* no pain.
Over many years of trial and error...
I've learned (and still working on) the balance in life and not to focus on calories but rather focus on food that makes you feel good, tastes amazing, and does not require you to restrict yourself in life.
Recipes I am 'Over the Spoon for' are:
simple- as in minimal ingredients, steps, or dishes required
healthy- as in using all real and unprocessed foods, reduced sugar and processed flour,
delicious (obviously!)
